Why The Still Waters Method?

Hi, I’m Heather — a wellness coach, somatic guide, and founder of The Still Waters Method. My work is rooted in a simple truth: when a woman feels safe in her body, everything changes.

For years, I’ve worked at the intersection of movement, mindfulness, and healing. I began my journey as a Pilates instructor, drawn to how the body could rebuild strength with softness. But what I discovered along the way is that true transformation doesn’t just come from movement — it comes from deep reconnection. Reconnection to the nervous system. To the breath. To intuition. To nourishment. To stillness.

After opening and running multiple wellness spaces, I found myself returning again and again to 1:1 support — where real, lasting change unfolds. I saw how many women were living in survival mode: disconnected from their bodies, fatigued, anxious, inflamed, and unsure how to feel like themselves again.

The Still Waters Method was born from this need — a gentle yet powerful framework that blends functional movement, intuitive eating, somatic tools, and nervous system support to help women restore their inner rhythm.

I work primarily with women who are ready to slow down, feel deeply, and live more fully — not by doing more, but by coming home to themselves.
